A. PROFESSIONAL MEDIUM. Livelihood solely derived from the practice of mediumship.
B. SEMI-PROFESSIONAL MEDIUM. Whilst accepting fees, has other sources of income.
C. NON-PROFESSIONAL MEDIUM. Who practices mediumship but does not accept fees.
D. HEALING. One who practices spiritual healing.
E. SPEAKER. One who engages in public speaking for Spiritualism.
F. ASSOCIATE. One who supports the Aims and Objects of the Institute of Spiritualist Mediums
At present we have branches in Three locations; Basildon, Cambridge and Romford,.The Institute also runs residential courses and day seminars in different parts of the country on a variety of topics, many of which are requested by members.
Our members receive a quarterly journal that outlines future events and reports on our activities. They also have an opportunity to exchange ideas through our regular newsletter.
Membership is not restricted to mediums, supportive membership is welcomed and encouraged.
Members who are working mediums of experience may apply for Registration as an Approved Medium (ISM/RAM). We offer aspiring and practising mediums "Assessment" evenings with supportive and constructive feedback.
The annual membership fee is UK £17.50
Concession - over 60s £12.50
Europe £22.50 GBP, Rest of the World £27.50 GBP.
